TEES MAAR KHAN kick starts in March
There may be a five month gap between Akshay Kumar’s last release DE DANA DAN (November 2009) and upcoming HOUSEFULL (April 2010). However, Akshay Kumar is not resting. He is currently busy with the shooting of Nikhil Advani directed PATIALA HOUSE and would soon be entering the full-on mad commercial world of Farah Khan with TEES MAAR KHAN going on floors soon.
Confirms Shirish Kunder, producer of TEES MAAR KHAN and Farah Khan’s husband, “Yes, shooting for TEES MAAR KHAN starts on 1st March. I can promise that together, we would be putting our best efforts to make this the most entertaining film ever.” One indeed hopes that TEES MAAR KHAN indeed lives up to the huge expectations that one has from this film. After all it not just brings Farah Khan behind the camera again after OM SHANTI OM and MAIN HOON NAA, it is also the first ever film which the director is making without Shah Rukh Khan. Meanwhile, there is a continued mystery around the identity of the leading lady in the film. While Priyanka Chopra’s name was being discussed in hush-hush tones, it appears that Katrina Kaif is almost finalized for the role. “I can’t comment on that currently. Give me a day’s time and I should be able to come up with a confirmation” - is all that Shirish is willing to state at this juncture.
